The town Světlá Hora (1.549 inhabitants) lies in the Northern Moravia at the foothills of Jeseníky Mountains. The town was established in 1267 with the name Lichtewerden which later changed to Lichtward. It is about 60 km north from Olomouc, near to Bruntál (8 km) in the direction toward Vrbno pod Pradědem.
